 WHAT is INVOLVED in a LOW-CARB DIET?

The whole concept behind the low-carb diet is for a dieter to eliminate virtually all carbohydrate-based foods from their diet, while simultaneously increasing their intake of both proteins and fats. For the dieter, this means eliminating such food items as soda pop, pasta, bread, rice and alcohol, while still being allowed to consume reasonably “unlimited” amounts of various meat, cheese and butter products.
